Austin, TX – Today, Democratic nominee for Texas Governor Gina Hinojosa released a new campaign ad, “Law Enforcement,” demonstrating Hinojosa’s continued commitment to public safety while Abbott prioritizes photo-ops over supporting law enforcement.
The ad, which will run statewide, highlights Abbott’s continued use of Texas Law Enforcement officers as props for the cameras, while threatening their budgets behind the scenes.
Abbott is in the political fight of his life. Eleven polls in just over a month show a virtual tie between Hinojosa and Abbott, including the first ever back-to-back polls showing Abbott losing to a Democrat. Hinojosa is ready to work with law enforcement to make Texas the safest state in the nation. Texans are ready for change, and at the ballot box this November, we will take back our state.
