STATEMENT: Hinojosa On The Upcoming Storms Sweeping Through Texas

Austin, TX – Today, Democratic nominee for Texas Governor Gina Hinojosa released the following statement as much of the state prepares for heavy rainfall over the next few days:

“Heavy rain and flash flooding is expected for the next few days, so I encourage all Texans to stay informed about the upcoming storms. If you are in the path of these storms, listen to first responders and local officials, and please make all preparations needed to withstand this storm. I want to preemptively thank the first responders and emergency officials who are preparing for and will be ready to assist during this storm. Texans are resilient, and I know we will be prepared to ride this storm out, and protect our neighbors together.”
