NEW AD: Hinojosa Ad Airing During Cowboys Game, Calls Out Abbott’s Corruption

Austin, TX – Today, Democratic nominee for Texas Governor Gina Hinojosa released a new ad, “Priceless.” The ad, which will run all across Texas during the Dallas Cowboys game this Sunday, exposes how Greg Abbott has diverted billions of dollars in state tax breaks and resources to his donors like Elon Musk, the world’s only trillionaire and Abbott’s biggest donor.

Just this month, Musk donated $5,000,000 to boost Abbott’s flailing campaign. The Hail Mary donation followed news showing Abbott’s Texas Parks and Wildlife Department had plans to sell Boca Chica State Park to Musk after the election, and Abbott’s refusal to release his “intimate and embarrassing” emails with Musk to the public. As Abbott begs for support from big tech and data centers, Hinojosa will end Greg Abbott’s corporate welfare state, make the richest men in the world pay their fair share, and put working Texans first.

Transcript:

Taxpayer-funded handouts for data centers: $40,453,361.81.

What it costs Elon Musk to have a governor who works for him: $5,500,000.

No-bid government contracts to Abbott donors: $950,681,935.

Electing a governor who can’t be bought, priceless.

There are some things money can’t buy. Greg Abbott isn’t one of them. Gina Hinojosa for governor.
