DEAD HEAT: Fox News Texas Poll Shows Hinojosa Within One Point in Governor’s Race

Austin, TX – A new Fox News poll shows that Gina Hinojosa is within 1 point of Greg Abbott in the governor’s race, at 49% to 50%, inside the margin of error. Hinojosa is winning with “extremely motivated” voters and the key groups needed for victory, including Independents and Latino voters.

The Fox News poll follows TPOR polling from earlier this week, which showed a 3-point race and Hinojosa leading Latino voters by 38 – a 40-point swing since their May poll, demonstrating Hinojosa’s message resonating with one of the key constituencies needed to win statewide.
