RELEASE: Gina Hinojosa Announces “One Fight” GOTV Tour
Austin, TX – Today, Democratic nominee for Texas Governor Gina Hinojosa released the dates and locations for her “One Fight” GOTV tour. Since starting her campaign, Hinojosa has traveled more than 75,000 miles crisscrossing the state and met with thousands of Texans, regardless of party, to outline her plan to end Greg Abbott’s corruption and secure the American Dream for Texans. With multiple independent polls showing her ahead of Abbott in the governor’s race, the tour will underscore Hinojosa’s momentum in the lead-up to Election Day.
“There’s One Fight this year: Is Texas a state that is by and for the people, or is this the billionaire’s world and we just live in it?” said Hinojosa. “This campaign has always been about listening to the needs of working Texans in every corner of the state, regardless of party. In those conversations, I built my plan to secure the American Dream by saving Texas public schools and putting money in your pockets. I’m excited to continue meeting new voters, outlining our plans to create a Texas built for the people, not the billionaires, and turning out the vote ahead of Election Day. Don’t let them tell you it can’t happen in Texas, because it already is.”
