Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa Announces “By and For the People” Transition Leadership Team

Governor-elect Hinojosa: “We will have a bipartisan transition, and we will have a bipartisan administration and government in Texas.”

AUSTIN, TX – Today, Governor-elect Gina Hinojosa announced the leadership of her “By and For the People” transition team, which will prepare her incoming administration to deliver on her plans to lower costs for Texas families, strengthen public schools, and create a back-to-basics governance that works for the people.

The bipartisan team brings deep knowledge of communities across the state and the needs of Texas’ 31 million residents. Over the coming weeks, they will turn the Governor-elect’s campaign priorities into a governing agenda so the Hinojosa administration can hit the ground running on day one.

“We will have a bipartisan transition, and we will have a bipartisan administration and government in Texas,” said Governor-elect Hinojosa. Hinojosa added that the members of her transition team, who bring decades of experience serving Texans, “demonstrate my commitment to putting money in the pocket of Texans, making sure that we have opportunities for good jobs, recruitment for hardworking Texans, and for this to be a transition that truly represents all of Texas.”
